Standards throughout this school year. The purpose of this notification is to inform you that your student will participate in the third administration (PM) of the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) Reading and Mathematics assessments between April 2026 (K-2) and May 2026 (3-5).<\/p><p>Students enrolled in grades 4\u20135 participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/www-dce.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/testing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2026\/02\/2526BESTWritingFactSheet-Spring-2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">B.E.S.T. Writing Assessments<\/a> between March and April 2026.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c00335 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7c00335\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><u>Gifted Screenings and Evaluations<\/u><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-68b289b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"68b289b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The St. Johns County School District screens all 2nd grade students each year to identify those who may be eligible for gifted services. Students at other grade levels are screened on a referral basis. Please refer to the gifted information page under our helpful links for information on the timeline and how to request screenings. Children in the St. Johns County School District (SJCSD) are allowed two screenings by any school in the
