THE CEREMONY OF HOPE
Each year for Relay for Life, luminary bags can purchased either “In Honor of” or “In Memory of” loved ones who have fought cancer. At 9:00pm, all lights and generators will be turned off while the BTHS track is lined with each candlelit bag purchased for a loved one while the names are read aloud. Additionally, some luminary bags will be placed on the football bleachers to spell out the word HOPE.
